Michael
P. Cecil, M.D., F.A.C.C. Dr. Cecil was born in Oakland, California. He received his bachelor's degree
in Medicine with Highest Honors from the University of Louisville. Graduating from the University
of Louisville School of Medicine in 1986, he was elected to
the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society, and was named to Who's
Who Among Medical Students. His post-graduate training was
at Emory University, and he earned board certifications
in internal medicine, cardiology, and nuclear medicine. Dr. Cecil
has published peer reviewed scientific articles as well as general
information newspaper columns. He is listed in the "Guide to America's Top
Physicians".
Enrique
Flores, M.D., F.A.C.C. - Dr.
Flores is a native of Santiago, Chile, and is fluent in English
and Spanish. He received his medical degree Summa Cum Laude from
the University of Chile. He completed his medical and research
training at the New England Deaconess Hospital, the main teaching
hospital of Harvard Medical School. He graduated from an additional
3-year cardiology fellowship at the New England Medical Center.
Dr. Flores is the author of several papers published in medical
journals.

C. Hanson, M.D., F.A.C.C. Dr. Hanson was born in Washington, D.C. He received his bachelors degree and medical doctorate from Emory University. After completing his internship and residency in internal medicine at Emory, he served as chief resident. He then completed a 3 year fellowship in clinical cardiology, research and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Hanson is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He is listed in the "Guide to America's Top Physicians". Dr. Hanson has served as the Director of Cardiology and the Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Newton General and Rockdale Hospitals. He will serve as Chief of Staff at Newton Medical Center for two years beginning January 2010. He is the founding member of Georgia Heart Specialists, LLC.
James S. Abraham, M.D., F.A.C.C. - Dr. Abraham was born in Louisville, KY and raised in Augusta, GA. He received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Duke University. He received his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia in 1995 and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. After completing his internship and residency in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, he completed a 4 year cardiology fellowship at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Abraham is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. |
